It’s that time of year! Don’t forget to sign your kids up for after-school chess club or lessons. Contact your school to find out if they offer a chess club. Usually they meet once a week after school.
If you can’t find a chess program at your school check out our directory to find a club or academy near you. They may offer afternoon play or a chess program for your kids to learn.
Consider adding a ChessMadeFun.com membership for your child. Once your child is a member of Chess Made Fun they may play in group play throughout the week and a non-rated tournament once a month.
You may choose the coach that you would like to teach your child based on availability and level. Once matched with coaches you may read their bio or watch their video bio to see who you like best.
If your school does not offer a formal after-school program check out Chess Made Fun group courses. We offer a weekly virtual chess course for children who are beginners or intermediate players. The next classes starting soon.
